There are many schools in Phuket. Here, you can find both local and international schools providing quality learning in different languages, including Russian, English, French and German.
The list of universities where Phuket school-leavers matriculate is impressive and includes some of the world’s best universities.
Preschool-age children can attend kindergartens and child development centers where children spend time in exciting and edifying ways, preparing for adulthood.
British International School

Rassvet

The school grew out of the Russian-language classes introduced in 2013 by some of Phuket’s top international schools. Five years later, the school opened in a sprawling villa with a swimming pool in the Chalong neighborhood.
There are two two-story buildings on the compound. One is the elementary school and preschool, the other houses middle and high school.
The school opened a new campus by Blue Tree Park, close to Bang Tao Beach, in early 2023.
Skazka

Skazka is a private bilingual kindergarten for children accustomed to communicating mostly in Russian, and those learning Russian as their second primary language. The main languages of communication and instruction are Russian and English.
Skazka aspires to prepare its pupils for successful enrollment in any international school conforming to the UK or US education system, anywhere in the world.
Little Lions

This international kindergarten was founded by Dr. Frederick, a Canadian historian and language teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Canadian and British curricula. He serves as the director of Little Lions.
The kindergarten follows the British curriculum. The language of instruction is English.
All lessons are taught in English, by native speakers. They are accompanied by assistants who speak other languages, such as Russian, Chinese, French, German or Thai.
Jumanji

The Waldorf Phuket

Waldorf education is an international independent school movement created in Europe almost a century ago by Austrian philosopher, social reformer and visionary Rudolf Steiner. The learning process consists of three parts: engaging the head, the heart, and the hands—or thinking, feeling and acting.
The kindergarten is located next to the Phuket Nature Elephant Reserve, which is why the place is often jokingly referred to as “Elephant School.”
